How to break the rootvg mirror

Assuming that hdisk0 and hdisk1 are mirrored rootvg and you wish to retain hdisk0 as your 4.3 rootvg:

0) Run lspv and write down PVIDs for hdisk0 and hdisk1

1) unmirrorvg rootvg hdisk1

2) bosboot -m normal hdisk0

At this stage your machine will boot from hdisk0 on next reboot. You will use SMS on H70 to select boot from CD/DVD to do 5.2 install. Make sure to install to the correct disk. It is not certain that the install will automatically happen on the disk you want so make sure and the only way to be sure is to know PVID, not hdisk number.
