- Can someone tell me the procedure for a clean uninstall of Oracle 816 on Tru64 and then a clean install.I seem to be having trouble locating the env vars from the 816 install.Also where is the path for oraInventory defined?

I am trying to apply a patch unsuccesfully. I have corrected everything and the patch (for 8.0.6.3) doesn't seemed to be applied.
So, I kept on wondering if the ORACLE_SID I am configuring isn't enough. If I have 5 instances, how should I set ORACLE_SID during the patch installation on Oracle installer?
